Passion Project
For my passion project I wanted to document the process of making some armour for a cosplay. The cosplay is Melkor, from JRR Tolkien's The Silmarillion.
Stage 2: Begin Shaping
For this I use a weird tool my dad had in the basement that's designed to star fires. Basically you heat the foam and mold it. Stage 4: The Back
Finally! The back of the armour |
Stage 3: Multiple Pieces
In this stage I created an attached the other two front pieces. There are no photos of the unattached side pieces. |
Stage 5: Detailing+Painting
For the crack-type things in the armour I used a Dremel, which is a small, weird, power tool that you put sanding things on to.

The Finished Thing:
So my photographer friend Frances, (you had her last year) wanted to take some photos of my armour, so enjoy some of her lovely photos. We didn't have barley any time for photos, so extra kudos.
